1951 Sunday school performance
A number of our group photographs feature theatre performances in the village, of
which there seems to have been quite a number.
This one, we think, was put on by members of St. Andrew’s Sunday school and took
place in 1951.

About the “Group photographs project”
A number of group photographs have been contributed to our archive with very
little information attached to them. The aim of this project is to capture as much
detail as we can from those who might remember the events and people shown.
For this photograph, the “identifiers” were Helen Waller (who donated the
photograph and appears in it), Margaret Steptoe, Christine Whiteoak, Jill Ideson,
Enga Preston, Rosemary Hargreaves (who appears, along with her two sisters),
Dennis and Christine Laycock, Ruth Ward, and Robert Bracken.
